Format, validate and minify JSON with precise errors.

## What it does

JSON is strict: one trailing comma or unquoted key breaks the whole document. This formatter parses your input with the native JSON parser, points to the exact error, and returns consistently indented output. Use it to inspect API responses, clean config files or shrink payloads.

## How to use

1. Paste the JSON into the input panel.
2. Choose indentation or hit Minify.
3. Copy the cleaned result.

## FAQ

### Does it accept comments or trailing commas?

No. It follows standard JSON, so comments and trailing commas are errors. JSON5 needs a different parser.

### What does sorting keys do?

It sorts object keys alphabetically at every level. Useful to make two JSON documents comparable in a diff.

### Is there a size limit?

No fixed limit, but very large documents depend on your browser's memory and may take a moment.
