Unix timestamp to readable date, UTC and local time.

## What it does

Unix time counts seconds since 1 January 1970 UTC. APIs disagree on units: some send seconds, JavaScript uses milliseconds, and logs mix both. This converter auto-detects the unit, shows UTC and local representations, and converts readable dates back to epoch.

## How to use

1. Paste a timestamp or a readable date.
2. Check the auto-detected unit.
3. Copy the format you need.

## FAQ

### How does unit auto-detection work?

Values with 10 digits are treated as seconds and 13 digits as milliseconds. Ambiguous values can be forced with the unit selector.

### Why is local time different from UTC?

Local time includes your timezone offset and daylight-saving rules. UTC is the stable reference used by APIs and logs.

### What is the 2038 problem?

Systems storing Unix seconds in a signed 32-bit integer overflow on 19 January 2038. Use 64-bit time or millisecond values.
