About

A small workbench, built to stay out of the way.

dev.eneawork.it is a focused collection of 40 developer tools that run entirely in the browser. Bilingual, static and free, with no account and no upload.

What this is

Forty utilities for the work between the code: formatting and comparing JSON, testing regex, checking cron expressions, converting timestamps, hashing files, decoding JWTs, calculating subnets and the rest. Every tool opens with a working example so the first interaction is obvious.

How it is built

A small Node build script generates static HTML for every tool and language. Interaction is hand-written JavaScript with no frontend framework and no runtime dependencies. The same build checks links, duplicate ids, structured data and text encoding before anything is deployed.

Privacy and offline

Inputs are processed in the tab and never sent to a server. There are no cookies, analytics scripts, ads or third-party requests. A service worker caches the app shell and pages you visit so they reopen offline.

How tools are tested

The pure logic behind each tool is covered by Node tests, including RFC vectors for HMAC and TOTP, known hash values, subnet calculations and date edge cases. Browser checks cover the interactive pages at desktop and mobile widths.

Who makes it

Built by Enea Zani, a developer who wanted a fast, quiet alternative to ad-supported tool directories. The code is static, the design is deliberate, and the output you generate is yours.

How to cite it

Cite the tool page you used and the date shown in the footer. For example: “UUID Generator, dev.eneawork.it, accessed 2026.” The canonical URL and last update are on every page.
